A fire outbreak occured at one of the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) offices in Abuja on Saturday. The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) high court has rejected an application by Abubakar Malami, former attorney-general of the federation and minister of justice, seeking bail from the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
