A magistrate court in Abuja has ordered the remand of Aloy Ejimakor, one of the lawyers representing Nnamdi Kanu, the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB). Police arrested Ejimakor in Abuja on Monday after he joined protesters demanding Kanu’s release. The IPOB leader has been in the custody of the Department of State Services (DSS) since his re-arrest in 2021.
