The Councilor representing Ward 14 in Lagelu Local Government, Hon. Tawa Omolara Alamu, recently received key leaders and executives of Ward 14 during a strategic meeting held in her office at the newly constructed Legislative Chamber of the council.
The meeting, which drew prominent ward stakeholders, featured the presence of the Ward Chairman, Pastor Bunmi Alao; Local Executive Committee member, Surveyor Akinkunmi; Local Organizing Secretary, Iyabo Bamgbayan; Special Assistant, Ogundepo Alao; Hon. Yauyau; former Ward Chairman, Lasisi Mukaila, alongside other ward executives.
Addressing the delegation, Hon. Alamu expressed appreciation for their steadfast support and dedication to grassroots development and party unity within Ward 14. She emphasized that the new Legislative Chamber—recently built and commissioned by the Lagelu Local Government Chairman, Hon. Mudashiru Kamorudeen—symbolizes a new phase of legislative effectiveness, accessibility, and service delivery to the people.
She noted that the visit provided an opportunity to review ongoing ward-level initiatives, strengthen coordination between elected representatives and party structures, and align strategies for enhanced community engagement across Ward 14.
Speaking on behalf of the ward leadership, Pastor Bunmi Alao commended Hon. Alamu for her responsive representation and inclusive leadership style, describing her office as open and receptive to the aspirations of constituents.
The executives reaffirmed their commitment to supporting her legislative agenda and mobilizing grassroots backing for developmental programs in the ward.
The meeting concluded with renewed assurances of unity among Ward 14 stakeholders and a collective pledge to sustain collaboration aimed at advancing the welfare and political strength of the ward within Lagelu Local Government.
