No local government in Oyo State receives less than 100 million naira monthly from the Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC), January 2025 record of the committee has revealed.
This analysis shows that some local government areas receive over 500 million naira monthly, a development that starkly contrasts with the subpar performance of the leadership of these local government areas who hide under the guise of paucity of funds for their inability to effectively govern their constituents.
The analysis by this newspaper using data from the FAAC, accessed through BudgIt, shows that in January 2025, some local government areas in the state received over 600 million.
