Oyo Lawmaker and the Chairman house committee on local government, Chieftaincy matter and State Honors, Hon Olajide Akintunde politically known as “AKT” has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Hon Akinwale Akinwole on his appointment as the Chairman of the Local Government Commission.
In a release earlier on Tuesday, Hon. AKT described Hon Akinwole’s appointment as a “Well-deserved recognition,” noting that Hon Akinwole’s unwavering commitment to the ideals and growth of the PDP over the years has been nothing short of commendable. He emphasize that Hon Akinwole, who was the PDP candidate for Oyo North Senatorial District in the 2023 general election, he has consistently demonstrated loyalty, hard work, and service to the party and the people.
Hon AKT who’s doubled as the party whip of the house, also seized the opportunity to express profound gratitude to His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde, for his thoughtfulness in appointing Hon Akinwole and other capable individuals to lead the Local Government Commission and the Muslim Pilgrimage Board. He praised Governor Makinde’s continued commitment to rewarding excellence, loyalty, and service within the PDP family.
Furthermore, Hon.
