President Bola Tinubu will on Saturday embark on a one-day official visit to Kebbi state.
In a statement on Friday, Bayo Onanuga, special adviser to the president on information and strategy, said Tinubu, during the visit, will inaugurate some projects executed by Nasir Idris, governor of Kebbi.
Onanuga said the president will also headline the 61st Argungu international fishing and cultural festival as the special guest of honour.
“The festival is one of Africa’s most celebrated cultural events. It is staged by the riverside of the historic Matan Fada, recognised by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) of Humanity,” the statement reads.

TINUBU TO FORMALLY RECEIVE ABBA YUSUF TO APC ON MONDAY
Meanwhile, the president is also expected to visit Kano on Monday.
Dada Olusegun, special assistant to the president on social media, said Tinubu will formally receive Abba Yusuf, governor of Kano, into the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The grand reception ceremony will take place at the Sani Abacha Stadium.
In January, Yusuf resigned his membership of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) and defected to the APC.
He blamed “deepening internal crises” and “prolonged leadership disputes” for his exit from NNPP.
