The Local Government Secretary of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagelu Local Government, Otunba Bioku Olusegun Benjamin, popularly known as DOUBLE SIX, has extended heartfelt New Year greetings to residents of Lagelu Local Government and members of the PDP as they usher in a new year of renewed hope and political engagement.
In his New Year message, Otunba Bioku expressed appreciation to party leaders, ward executives, youths, women groups, and loyal party faithful for their dedication, resilience, and commitment to the growth and stability of the PDP in Lagelu throughout the past year.
He described the New Year as a season of reflection, re-strategising, and unity, urging PDP members to remain steadfast, disciplined, and focused on strengthening the party’s grassroots structure ahead of future political engagements.
“The New Year offers us another opportunity to reinforce unity, loyalty, and purposeful service to our people. As a party, we must continue to stand together and place the interest of Lagelu above personal considerations,” Otunba Bioku stated.
The PDP scribe also called on residents of Lagelu Local Government to sustain their support for progressive governance in Oyo State, while reaffirming the party’s commitment to people-oriented policies, inclusiveness, and sustainable development at the grassroots level.
Otunba Bioku prayed for peace, good health, and economic stability for families across Lagelu, expressing optimism that the New Year would usher in greater political harmony and development for the local government.
