“This event is a testament to our collective spirit – the spirit of togetherness that defines Lagelu,” he declared. “It reflects the holiday magic that binds us as one people under God. We are delighted to see families here in full force: fathers, mothers, children, and grandparents. This is our moment to create lasting memories and strengthen the bonds that make our local government strong.”
The Chairman particularly emphasized his administration’s deliberate efforts to identify with the diverse religious communities in Lagelu, extending support and recognition during their special festive seasons – whether Christian, Islamic, or traditional. This inclusive approach, he noted, has been central to fostering genuine unification across the local government area, bridging faiths and cultures in a shared spirit of harmony.
The Chairman underscored the shared traditions across Lagelu’s communities, urging attendees to carry forward the season’s message of love, compassion, and service into the New Year. He reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to building a secure, prosperous, educated, and connected community for all.
On behalf of the local government administration, Hon. Kamorudeen extended warm wishes for a Merry Christmas filled with peace, joy, and abundant blessings, alongside a prosperous New Year. “Thank you, God bless you, God bless Lagelu Local Government, and God bless Oyo State!” he concluded, to resounding applause.
