Friday- October 17, dignitaries, political associates and government functionaries came together from different angles of their location of Lagelu local government and beyond to honour the invitation of Peoples Democratic Party stalwart, Elder Kehinde Fabunmi (KENFAB) on the final burial ceremony of his late brother.
The event, held on Sunday at T. L Oyesina school, Alabebe ibadan, which brought all hands on desk, sparked talks and gists, fun/enjoyments and cheerful moment, with Niyi Peters’ music making waves between local and state Stakeholders, Leaders, office holder and bigwigs across Oyo party line.
In a mind of appreciation, Elder Kehinde Fabunmi expressed gratitude to dignitaries, traditional rulers and religious leaders from across the state. They included; Hon Olajide Akintunde (AKT)- Member OYHA (Lagelu State Constituency); Hon Mudashiru Kamorudeen- Lagelu council Chairman; Hon Akinmoyede Olafisoye- Member, Federal House of Reps (Akinyele/Lagelu Federal Constituency); Elder Babatunde Tijani; Professor Dahood Sangodoyin- Oyo State Commissioner for Energy; Elder Oribayo Okeyode; Evangelist Ayobami Gold; Hon. Adetokunbo Adeaga- Chairman, Oyo CSDA; Alh. Wulemot Ibitoye- Oyo PDP Organizing, Oloye Benedict Akika; Hon Surajudeen Tiamy; Lagelu local government 14 ward councilors, Supervisory Councilors, Special Assistants to the local government; Lagelu leader and elders’ forum and many others.
“On behalf of my family and myself, I would like to express our deepest gratitude to everyone who has stood by us. The love, support, and prayers we have received following the passing of our beloved brother have brought comfort in ways words cannot fully express”, he said.
He however appreciated everyone for their financial, spiritual and moral support and those who took out from their busy schedule to grace the occasion.
