Today, in Oyo Town, the outgoing and newly elected Party Chairmen of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) across the 33 Local Governments of Oyo State held an official handover ceremony.
The event witnessed the presence of all 33 Local Government Party Chairmen and other notable party stakeholders.
During the meeting, Hon. Femi Falowo of Lagelu Local Government was unanimously elected as the Chairman of all Local Government Party Chairmen in Oyo State. The position of Secretary was zoned to Ogbomoso, producing Mr. Sikiru Jimoh of Ogbomoso North, while the Public Relations Officer (PRO) position went to Ibarapa, Oyo zones with Treasurer drawn from Oyo East Local Government.
All newly selected officers were charged to promote unity, love, and progress within the party, and to work diligently toward ensuring the success of the PDP beyond 2027 in Oyo State.
