The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Youth League, Enugu State Chapter has officially endorsed Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde as its most preferred presidential candidate for the 2027 general elections, positioning him as the formidable force ready to reclaim power from the failed President Bola Tinubu and the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
This declaration, ratified during a high-level Youth Group Executive Committee meeting in Enugu, underscores Makinde’s exceptional leadership, proven track record, and widespread grassroots support, making him the ideal candidate to unite Nigerians and deliver the transformative governance the nation desperately needs.
Governor Makinde, affectionately known as “Seyi the Beloved,” has emerged as the frontrunner following extensive consultations across structures, youth wings, and chieftains of the Party in the State.
Recent endorsements from key party figures, including former Oyo PDP Chairman Kunmi Mustapha, and PDP chieftain Chief Femi Babalola, highlight his strategic edge over other contenders in the Party.
