‎At last week Saturday, Peoples Democratic Party PDP, Lagelu Local government chapter held its Congress at the council secretariat, where the former local Youth Leader, Otunba Olusegun Bioku Benjamin (Double Six) emerged as the party secretary.

‎In a statement released and made available to Apollo Media, Double Six expressed his appreciation to the executive governor of Oyo State, Engineer Seyi Makinde, party leaders, Elders and stakeholders across 14 wards of the local council for their exemplary leadership, guidance, and steadfast support which ensured the success and peaceful outcome of the congress.

‎He further reaffirmed his unwavering dedication and commitment towards party triumph come 2027 and urged the other executives members to remain steadfastness and work assiduously together to strengthen the party unity ahead of future political engagement.
