In the development situation of the ongoing bye-election in Ibadan North federal Constituency, the Oyo All Progressive Congress (APC) has accused the honorable minister of power, Chief Bayo Adelabu ‘Penkelemesi’ of diverting the sum of seven hundred thousand dollars meant for campaign and election activities for his personal use.
According to some factions members of of the party who like to stay anonymous, emphasized that Adelabu ‘Penkelemesi’ has collected money for the campaign and election logistics in the expense of the party and channeled it to his personal purse.
The concerned party member who expressed grievance as the party lacking mobilization fund during campaign and while the election is ongoing. — “Bayo Adelabu has betrayed us again, the logistics and mobilization funds for today’s election has been diverted to his personal purse. he is known for his shady and hanky-panky behavior”, one said.
The party governorship aspirant in the last election has always in the forefront of their recent campaign in Ibadan North local government was suspected to have cornered the funds raised for election.
Recall, in the past few days, Oloye Adelabu’s white mansion in Ibadan has left online buzzling, speculations among party members and netizen for acquiring such huge luxury in just two years of President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
